I solved the problem by setting a KWin rule to force a window size of 2249x1271 (though i have a 4k monitor). It seems that my scaling factor of desktop 170% is messing up the KSA renderer which gets confused between physical and logical pixel count.

Runs out of the box on my fedora 44, Nvidia RTX 5080, dual display with no errors in log. Sadly everything is rendered in the upper left quarter of the screen and the mouse is registered at it's real position, so i can't click anything. Moving and resizing the window works but does not help, as...
