I can confirm it happens on Windows build too. It looks like the camera doesn't actually see the vessel currently being edited, or even the parts being drawn out of the parts list, and when we exit the editor mode, all the parts are briefly visible for a frame or two. Do you also have the FPS...

It looks like the camera itself isn't where it should be, when in Editor mode, hence the impression that parts aren't displayed on screen when selecting them in the parts list

I've noticed on occasions that the game does freeze when opening the Ground Track window, but it's temporary. It freezes for about 10 seconds, then resumes, displaying the ground track window. For how long does it freeze, for you?
