Linux: AMD GPU: Terrain not Rendering

I really wonder how anti-aliasing results in disco lights. A weird bug - seems to be some sort of color specific blooming effect, or so...

Linux: AMD GPU: Terrain not Rendering

For me, the disco lights disappear when I disable Anti-Aliasing in Display settings. Sometimes I have to press "Apply" more than once, though. Which kernel are you running? I have an issue with Wayland, though: Sometimes game-windows detach (WHICH IS LOVELY!!!), but then don't react anymore to...

    Linux Discussion

I am so happy. It works, I only had to install "dxvk-bin" under Manjaro Linux (Arch based). And it has terrain on my RX7600XT.

Linux: AMD GPU: Terrain not Rendering

I can only say, that I will gladly double my payment for the game if "running under Proton" or "Steamdeck-ready" or similar becomes part of the pledge for the devs. I would be happy not to have a native linux client, but pretty much everything that I throw at Linux runs fine. KSA is the weird...

Linux: AMD GPU: Terrain not Rendering

7600 XT, tried "everything", no terrain. @Davidian1024: Could you edit your original post to show, that it does not work, yet? Include latest version. Or make a new "Canary-Thread: Radeon not rendering terrain under Linux yet"-thread? As soon as anyone gets it working, it should be written down...

Troubleshooting KSA (Pre-Alpha) on Linux under Wine

Weird. I don't see any terrain. (RX7600, 16GB VRAM), no matter what I do, no matter what Wine or Proton version I use. I could land the ship on water, though. Manjaro, Wayland, Plasma. There seems to be something weird happening with visibility in the game, though: Moving the Flightplan too far...

Water World (No Terrain on Earth)

It seems to be the current state under Linux. If you zoom out, you will eventually see a texture applied to earth. (But that is not really generated terrain.)

Troubleshooting KSA (Pre-Alpha) on Linux under Wine

I used PlayOnLinux to create a new prefix, then installed the VSDK, then KSA. Launching KSA.exe opens a download page in my browser to download .Net 9. Which I had to run in the prefix manually. After that, KSA runs, with a very smooth framerate. (Radeon RX 7600, Manjaro Linux)

How to make resource extraction much more interesting

    > Mining and conversion is boring. True. From a gameplay point of view it also does not make sense for very large stations to actually mine and convert. As long as a certain size of station is reached (power output, mineral extraction capacity), you should not simulate the whole process...

    Hi peeps

Well, there is a reason: For refueling! Since the mining runs even when the craft/station is unloaded, you could build a proper fat base on the Mun. My issue with that always is: From a gameplay point of view it does not make sense for very large stations to actually mine and convert. As long...

    Hello, everyone!

The bouncing! That made everything so unnecessarily complicated! Load, reload, reload - phew. EVA from Eve ground station and have it fly off - reload. Damn, I hope they solve that. It really limited KSP.

    Hi peeps

Same for me. Advancing to having a space dock, or at least a hangar on the Mun at some point, would have been lovely. There were mods to do something similar to it, but somehow they didn't do it for me. Sure, getting heavy cruisers launched into orbit with the weirdest support stages also was...
