Is there any way to see a list of known members?

Any way to see a list of known members rather than randomly posting a post with a possible name so that you can click the link to find them? A list where you can see known members and click on them to see profile and send messages would be very handy. @Kiwi Shark Thank you.

Contribution Updates + Linux

Contribution Updates We want to give you greater flexibility in how you want to support KSA, so we have two new updates to contributions based on your feedback! You can now specify custom amounts for monthly and yearly contributions. More preset contribution options. If you have a monthly or yearly recurring contribution set up and would like to change the amount, you'll need to cancel your current recurring contribution first, under your account settings, then create a new one from the...

Pronouns Field

Pronouns are important information for any platform where people are communicating. If I need to refer to something someone else has said, I'd need to say something like "@user123 said that [they]'d used an RD-107, not an RD-108, which is why [they] didn't have enough delta-v", and if a user cares to fill in the profile field, being able to see how I should refer to the other user is important. I can work around this by putting them in my signature block, but that's a workaround. Ideally it...

"Continue with Discord" Account Setup Flow

Gonna merge these together since it's all related, but these are some notes from signing up earlier today via Discord, and then logging in again on another desktop. When first signing up, I'm given the option to 'Continue with Discord' or 'Use Email Instead', but I'm not told; Will my Discord be publicly linked to my KSA Forum/Ahwoo profile? Answer seems to be no - good, but should tell the user before they sign up. Will my Discord Avatar be synced to Ahwoo, and can I change them...

Different icons for Sign-up and Trending in top menu bar on mobile?

When I saw the forums for the first time on mobile, I was rather confused by the clipboard icon in the blue square that appeared in the mobile top bar: I thought it was a prompt to paste something from my clipboard, only realizing it was a sign-up link when I tapped on it and saw the confirmation that would send me to Ahwoo's authentication portal. To avoid associations with the paste action, would an icon like a pen or a pen writing be better? That would evoke the action of "signing"...

Recovery Authentication Codes for Two-Factor-Authentication

Hello Ahwoo. Today I received an email from you regarding "recovery authentication codes" because I had set up TOTP as my two-factor authentication (2FA) method. In your e-mail you are saying that 12 recovery codes have been created and will be presented to me the next time I log in. As a software developer, who has written TOTP applications for clients and servers, I feel compelled to explain why these "recovery codes" undermine the security model of TOTP. Unlike passwords, with TOTP...

Consider putting the button for smilies in the top bar of DMs

Had a quick look around and overall the forum looks nice! My main forum experience nowadays is with the Ars Technica site, and commenting on the Ahwoo forums shares a lot of good similarities. My one suggestion so far is that the button for "Smilies" be put in the top bar when creating or replying to a Direct Message, rather than being hidden underneath the 3 dot menu. This is already the case when making forum posts, but I think it would be used frequently enough in DMs to justify a spot...

Website news - rss feed

Would it be possible to add a rss feed to the news page (https://ahwoo.com/store/KPbAA1Au/kitten-space-agency/news) Nothing fancy, just the list of article title with a link to the webpage to read them. Thus people can aggregate your post on the app they want and be notify when a new article has dropped

On Mobile the buttons and text clip through the navbar

On Mobile the buttons and text clip through the navbar. It only happens on the first section on the site. On PC it looks more intentional but on mobile it just looks wrong.

Add version labels and OS selection before downloading

The current download button does not display version information, which makes it difficult for users to identify whether a new release is available. Additionally, there is no dedicated section for update logs within the built-in forum. I propose linking the download button to an independent download webpage. On this page, users should be able to select their operating system (Windows/Linux) and software version. If feasible, a dropdown list for older legacy versions should also be provided...
