Had a quick look around and overall the forum looks nice! My main forum experience nowadays is with the Ars Technica site, and commenting on the Ahwoo forums shares a lot of good similarities. My one suggestion so far is that the button for "Smilies" be put in the top bar when creating or replying to a Direct Message, rather than being hidden underneath the 3 dot menu. On Mobile the buttons and text clip through the navbar. It only happens on the first section on the site. On PC it looks more intentional but on mobile it just looks wrong.
