I'm happy to see osx-arm64 in the native packages - am I right in flagging that as a deliberate choice not to expend effort on the now-obsolete intel hardware? I imagine with a small team and big ambitions, it's likely not on the roadmap.

Incidentally, this is my first post, so thanks to the team at Ahwoo for releasing this framework - the possibilities it affords and the potential to remove a lot of limitations holding us back on other projects is pretty exciting!

Hello and welcome to the forums!

I can't speak for the devs at all, but I think your guess is probably correct. The Intel age is long gone and not worth the extra overhead.

Small other note/question I'll throw in the mix (for the devs): What convention drove using the osx prefix? OS X hasn't been the proper name in nearly a decade. I'd expect a macos-arm64 label these days.

Hey Gareth, Max here. Glad to see you here on the forums!

Hi Max!

Love what your team is doing here. Leaving implementation open means I don't have to work around opiniated systems to get what I want, I can just do the thing direct the way that makes sense for my project (such as a UI system that implements flex instead of painful anchor-based editor guff).

As to the rid's - I have an older intel mac, but I can always dual boot it to Linux for dev, hardly a deal breaker.
