Hi all,
I’d like to share ImCode, an ImGUI code editor component for BRUTAL: https://github.com/aproposmath/ImCode
It’s based on my StationeersIC10Editor mod for Stationeers. I (well, mostly AI actually) removed the game-specific parts and restructured the rest into a reusable library, so you can use it for in-game scripting, tools or mods.
You can use it in two ways:
- Single widget: ImCodeEditor, a code text area you drop into your own ImGui window
- Full editor: EditorWorkspace with tabs, split view, find/replace, status bar and settings
Features:
- Syntax highlighting (C#, Markdown, or your own language)
- Hover tooltips, completion and diagnostics with squiggles
- Undo/redo, auto indent, comment toggling, zoom, dark and light theme
- Optional Vim mode
- Rebindable keys and custom commands
For now it’s used as a git submodule rather than a NuGet package, and the README explains the setup. A GLFW/OpenGL demo is in samples/Demo.
Feedback and bug reports are welcome!
Thanks to Rocketwerkz for making BRUTAL open source, that's awesome!
Here a teaser for a KSA mod that's using it already:

BTW: First!
