FMOD has channels for DSP effects like Reverb. I assume you're using this for caves & whatnot. When you use something as a channel, you can modulate its influence on the sound.
When you change reverb zones, it currently hard switches reverb. Having interpolation between the audio zones would be imo feel better.

FMOD also lets you change the position of a sound as it plays & also lets you have sounds be non-positional. Some guns when you use them in your hands sound like they're off to one side when I personally believe they should be centred on yourself & not off to one side nor the other.

Silencers don't change the sound of guns.

There's also something off about the positional sounds of zombies. It doesn't feel like I hear a zombie "right over there." I know FMOD kinda sucks when it comes to its default positional audio. I think the technology is called HRTF for better positional audio. I assume the audio engine revolves around west always being left, and east always being right.
