Orbital Inclination Massively Changed for no reason after docking mega crafts

What Happened​

I made a giant space station launched from cape Canaveral in a roughly eastward trajectory for ease of docking. I succesfully docked two modules. When I reloaded the game I noticed my orbit was nowhere near the orbital inclination that I had started with, it didnt even pass over Cape launch site and had somehow morphed into something near polar.

What Was Expected​

1. That my orbit would stay where I put it as no burning was occuring at all.

Reproduction Steps​

1. Seemed to occur when I docked a second module as well.
