Question Is my kitten doomed?

I'm a kerbal refugee and promptly landed the demo rocket on the moon not realising that these kittens have very underpowered backpacks. Is my kitten doomed here? Can I somehow plan a rescue mission or is there enough thrust in the backpack after it's emptied to be able to reach the cockpit?

Since that's the case, you could try to carry out a rescue mission. Maybe next time remember to add a ladder when designing the rocket. Also, the saved game resets every time you install a new version.

The saves should work between versions. Only sometimes breaking.
