Modpack Flight Planning Essentials

This is a small pack of three mods for mission planning: one for looking up bodies in the solar system, one for delta-v budgets and transfer windows, and one for executing maneuvers. It's available in Borea Mod Manager.

Included mods:

Compendium v0.9.13 by nanonestor
Adds a window, toggled through ModMenu, that lists the bodies in the loaded solar system.

• Bodies are grouped by category, with moons listed under their parent body
• Orbit lines can be toggled for a single body, a group or a whole category
• Each body has a page of stats

DeltaVMap v1.2.6 by Maxi
An interactive delta-v subway map and transfer-window planner. The map is built from the loaded solar system, so it works with stock and modded systems without setup.

• The map is centered on your current body, and transfers use Hohmann calculations
• Route planning shows the delta-v for each leg and compares the total with your vehicle's delta-v
• Transfer windows show the optimal phase angle, the current phase and time to the next window
• Open it from View → Delta-V Map in flight, or from its tab in the editor

Advanced Flight Computer v0.8.0 by Maxi
Maneuver planning, burn execution and closed-loop guidance.

• Quick tools for common maneuvers, plus flyby targeting (hyperbolic orbits supported)
• Burns can be split across multiple passes, or run on RCS only
• Automatic staging, including spent boosters
• Powered guidance for ascent, boostback and landing

Requirements

• KSA 2026.9.10.5438 or newer
• StarMap loader 0.4.6 or newer
• ModMenu (required by Compendium)
• Optional: KittenExtensions (enables some AFC features)

Installation

1. Open Borea Mod Manager
2. Find Flight Planning Essentials under Mod Packs
3. Install. Borea installs the three mods and their dependencies.
