What it does
- Adds a Kerbal (the generic male Kerbal in KSP's default EVA suit) as a new crew character.
- Uses KSP's own animations: idle, walk, run, jump and landing, low-gravity walk, ladder, swimming, and floating with the jetpack.
- Helmet and visor from KSP. The jetpack is KSA's, fitted to the Kerbal so the RCS thrusters line up.
- The Kerbal is scaled to the kittens' height, which is what keeps the RCS working.
- The eyes keep KSP's own animation instead of following the camera.
- Close the game.
- Copy the
KSP-Charactersfolder intoDocuments/My Games/Kitten Space Agency/mods/. - Start the game. It picks up the new mod on its own.
- Kerbals join the crew pool next to the kittens, so new crew members are a random mix. The three starting kittens stay kittens.
- Kerbals get kitten names, because the game's name generator lives in code.
- There is only one model: the generic male Kerbal. No Valentina, no other suits yet.
- No facial expressions or blinking yet.
- The seated pose (inside a capsule) is a still pose, as in KSP's command seat.
- With the jetpack, the Kerbal keeps one floating pose whatever the thrust, as in KSP.
- Existing saves keep the crew they already have.
