Surviving is different from living. Tardigrades basically go into suspended animation to survive a lack of water or air, so to do a spacewalk and accomplish anything more than a hard nap they'd need a spacesuit. They also don't handle ultraviolet very well so they at least need opaque clothes...

Wikipedia lists the launch of two NRO satellites on Jun 15, 2007 as a partial success. The upper stage cut off 4 seconds early, causing the payload to be deployed at a lower orbit than intended. I think ULA counts it as a failure but the customer didn't care and counted it as a success.

Dean Hall is the best Rocket. Runner up for me is the Atlas V/Centaur because it's just so dang reliable (103.5 successful missions out of 104) and it looks quite nice. It has also launched so many historic payloads, such as LRO, MRO, Curiosity, Perseverance, New Horizons, Lucy, Juno...

On the Other hand, the custom space suit would be very expensive. On the gripping hand, this just makes me want to go reread The Mote in God's Eye.
