These guidelines exist to keep our forums healthy and enjoyable for everyone. If you think a rule doesn't make sense or needs clarification, start a discussion about it – we're open to feedback and improvement.
If you violate these guidelines, you'll be warned, temporarily banned, or permanently banned depending on the severity and your history. We'll always tell you why action was taken. Removed content is replaced with: "[Content removed — Rule X violation]"
If you see a rule violation, please report it. We rely on the community to help keep things healthy.
These aren't exhaustive rules. If you're doing something that harms the community or other users, we'll address it even if it's not explicitly listed here.
Developers and players are collaborators, not opponents. Criticism of games, features, or decisions is okay; that's valuable feedback. Attacks against specific individuals or groups are not okay.
✅ "This update is terrible, I can't understand why this design choice was made"
❌ "This update is terrible, whoever made this decision should be fired"
Hate speech targeting people based on their identity isn't allowed here. Despite how common it is elsewhere on the internet, we don't tolerate it.
Respect thread purposes and stay roughly on-topic. Threads naturally drift here and there—that's fine—but don't deliberately derail conversations or spam giant images, garbled text, or off-topic noise.
If a thread creator sets specific guidelines for their thread, please respect them.
This is a space for shared interests and community discussion. Political discussions are not allowed. Keep conversations focused on topics that bring the community together rather than divide it.
Don't post links to pirated games, music, or other illegally distributed files. Don't ask for links to pirated content either.
Sexually explicit content, images, or roleplaying is not allowed. Brief mentions of sexual content in games or media when relevant to discussion are fine, but sexually-focused threads or content sharing is not allowed.
Use the report button when you see rule violations. That's how we maintain community health. Don't try to handle it yourself.
Some violations result in immediate permanent bans because they threaten community safety:
By registering, you agree not to post material that is false, defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, or violates any applicable law. You're responsible for your posts. We don't actively monitor every message, so we rely on community reporting.
Your IP address is recorded with each post for security and enforcement purposes. We reserve the right to reveal user information in response to formal complaints or legal action.
