Minumum system requirements?

Is there somewhere official information on the minimum required specs for cpu, gpu, ram, vram, etc?
The game crashes for me right at the end of the loading screen (I can just see "loading complete" before it goes down). I am running it through wine on linux, so I don't expect any support, but I am curious whether it's something wrong with my wine setup or if my pathetic laptop is just too pathetic. (For reference, I have an i5, UHD 620, and 16GB ram).

First issue i see; you are running linux and you need to follow the guide found here: (KSA Discord server --> Running the game on Linux)

Second issue: thats integrated graphics, the UHD 620 is not made for gaming, a 4060 doesnt even reach 100 frames per second on minimum settings, and VRAM useage is at 8gb+ when running the game at the moment (full solar system)(attached screenshot)

Minimum spec requirements is probably anything with at least 4-8gb of vram and vulkan 1.2 from what i can tell

I'd say more like 6GB VRAM.
Could've fit solar system with everything on 2k.
8GB is enough for all 4k and surface 8k.

That's what I was afraid of. Oh well. Maybe eventually it'll be optimized enough to run at very low settings. In the meantime I guess I'll go back to ksp....

I've got the same graphics card and got the same crash after Loading Complete using the lowest graphics settings. https://forums.ahwoo.com/threads/ultra-low-quality-config.187/ has low quality settings to change to. I have just tried that and now KSA starts, gets to the welcome screen and now I will see how playable it is. Give it a go!

I've seen that too, but it doesn't work for me. Are you on a linux platform as well, and if so, could you tell me how you set ksa up? I realize now that I'm still running the version released last Friday--if there's been an update that might affect things.

I'm running the packaged wine staging 10.19 on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and used current winetricks installed locally to get dotnetdesktop9. I should create a clean wine environment for it as I may have changed a few other things that might have inadvertantly helped.

I'm only getting 1 FPS and there is no view of Earth, but it is still interesting to explore what can still be done, and the vessels including Hunter do display. I've upgraded to 11.6 though 11.4 worked as well.
