Throttle Not Functioning

Default keybinding for throttle up/down is Up/Down. When in flight mode, this does not work; craft engines will not throttle. I can confirm that Z/X work just fine to go full blast or shutdown.

I went into Map View and selected Vehicle (to have full control over the craft). Up/Down still not functioning for throttle, regardless of Map or Flight View. I changed the keybindings to KpAdd/KpSubtract (+/-), and still not able to throttle.

A secondary issue to this that I believe is related is that the auto-burn function for maneuvers has a hard stop at the end of the burn. Even the computer is incapable of throttling up/down to control burns.

Check the keybinding in the options, default are UP and DOWN arrows, additionally you should be under 30x warp to do it.

Please re-read my report. Why? Because I literally stated I checked keybindings. As well as attempting to change them away from the defaults to see if that worked.

Also, I'm not under warp when attempting to throttle. You couldn't do it in KSP, so I made the assumption you couldn't do it in KSA. So no "throttle under warp" is being attempted.

You can do it up till 30x the speed in KSA.
Are you on a laptop?
I am on a desktop. While I have multiple laptops, none of them are powerful enough for gaming. :)

And I figured out what the problem is. When I throttle up or down, I'm expecting the engine to be engaged and start thrusting. That is not the case in KSA. When the engine is shutdown, it's off. Period. The engine has to actually be activated in order to thrust. I am just so used to KSP that I assumed that, once activated, it would stay activated. Not the case.

So this is a case of partial bug and partial PEBCAK. I say partial bug because you can't throttle completely off, and you can't throttle up from a shutdown state. You should be able to activate the engine with 0 thrust and then throttle up from there, but you can't. I'd say that's a bug, but I could easily get overruled on that.

For me it's not a bug, I know this behavior from other games so it's standard for me. As well I know the feeling habits are the worst curse ;)
