FIXED: Turn off "Ocean" in Graphics Settings.

Says it right in the release notes I just missed it.

Ryzen 7 5800XT
RX 6700XT 12GB
Windows 10

Planets are not rendering when I am close to them, they look like a massive white sphere. When I zoom out far enough, the textures then happen. Pictures show what I am saying.

Happens on high and low settings.

I know AMD cards have been having problems, I did update my drivers.

EDIT: Some celestial bodies work, like Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto

Also I am getting another graphical glitch:

Wondering if you're seeing the same thing I did. Some objects have textures, but most do not.

Seeing the same as capran with the addition of Mars and Phobos have textures. One difference from the OP is I'm not seeing textures when zoomed out either - on the two I checked (Vesta, Mercury)

Windows 11 24H2

NVIDIA RTX 3060 12GB VRAM

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
AMD Radeon RX 6800XT 16GB - latest drivers

Furthermore F3 - ground tracking, freezes and crashes game - always.

I know that a lot of the bodies in the game just don't have textures anyways. I don't have an exact list off the top of my head but that would be useful to compare against. In the case of ones that should but you still see a white sphere (particularly Earth) I've heard that disabling oceans can help fix the issue. Otherwise yeah this is part of the known issues surrounding AMD GPUs.

Same issue here... I have my specs in the pinned GPU thread. I noticed that if you change the Tonemapper to anything other than Hable, the Earth shows up as black instead of white. I also noticed that if you change the camera to Hunter, you can see the terrain through the glass of his visor...screencap5.png

you caan see terrain if you uncheck "atmosphere" in volumetrics category of graphics settings. I hope there's a fix, and that my gpu can keep up.
