After a lot of work I managed to put a Kerbal into Kitten Space Agency. The RCS is half broken but it works, the textures work. And there is no animation for it.

To be honest, just by documenting and sharing the process on how do you get the models and textures working, it would be a greater contribution than the mod itself. nice work!
