Many people like to generate stuff with AI but nobody wants to see all the slop. Instead of hating all AI content in general and also instead of spamming AI stuff where nobody wants it, let's have this small place to post whatever we consider funny, interesting or in any way worth showing. :)

I've generated this Dark Souls inspired scenes, aiming for a 50s/60s fantasy movie style with stop-motion aesthetics. :D

So are you a general fan of reptiles or is there some other reason for the lizard fellas? Also what did you use for these?

Not like a very huge fan fan (but I still think reptiles are cool!), but inspired by the enemies in Sen's Fortress, you find in Dark Souls 1.

I use Sora for these since the free tier is very usable despite its limitation to ~12 images a day.
Btw., the creature was intended to be a bear with an eel's head but it came out a bit different. :D

A mildly competent AI illustration of a kitten fighter pilot, after a lot of work trying to make the generator create images of cats without ears sticking through their helmets, then manually moving the cat to be actually inside the cockpit like I asked and further iteration to make the backdrop more interesting using Google Photos.

Art style: cute illustration
A cute cartoon showing A cute, stylized kitten with a helmet inside a fighter jet. The kitten is in the cockpit, and the kitten doesn't have ears. The jet is stopped on a runway and looks sleek, with the entire jet visible in the picture from a three quarters side view., in a soft, cute, minimalist, webcomic-style illustration. Line art is somewhat bold but gentle, with clean lines, and subtle variation. Colors are soft, flat, with gentle pastel tones. No shading except for light inner shadows or simple highlights. The background is plain white or contains a light wash of color with subtle textured style. The overall scene is wholesome and endearing like a page from a Liz Climo comic. Composition is centered with space around the character, evoking authentic warmth through the wholesome, soft, web comic style.

It's an aesthetically pleasing masterpiece, showing high skill in evoking an authentic and beautifully minimalist style.

Negative prompt: ears

Still not as good as something an artist could make (ignore the horizontal stabilizer attached to the exhaust nozzle and the sole landing gear door), but an interesting diversion.

Very different type of cat haha. The first image looks more natural to me in terms of the pilot's pose in a presumably airborne aircraft.

On the

Other hand, the custom space suit would be very expensive.

On the gripping hand, this just makes me want to go reread The Mote in God's Eye.
Would a tardigrade really need a space suit just to stay alive? And how good a suit would it need to be active and do things?

Surviving is different from living. Tardigrades basically go into suspended animation to survive a lack of water or air, so to do a spacewalk and accomplish anything more than a hard nap they'd need a spacesuit. They also don't handle ultraviolet very well so they at least need opaque clothes (or sunscreen).
