Unfortunately you likely only have 2GB of VRAM with a 1050, and KSA is going to pull at least that much or a decent amount more even at the lowest settings. You can give this config a try: https://forums.ahwoo.com/threads/ultra-low-quality-config.187/ and see if that gets it to run. Good luck!

The game does have a little warning notice when you hover over one of the attitude control buttons saying that RCS alone isn't usually going to completely nullify all rotation. This is possibly intended behavior.

If they kept the real solar system as an option it might be worth doing, it would be cool. But the since the goal is to implement a fictional system then the background stars might change too.

The sentiment I've seen expressed some so far in Discord is that they're just glad anything is coming in to begin with. They also anticipate that more people will be more willing to contribute more money as KSA develops into a more fully realized "game". Which makes sense.

Yeah this is something that'll definitely be useful but might be more sensible to spend the time on implementing once the game has solidified more and the expectations around resource consumption are more predictable in the first place.

Yeah at the end of the day you just have to turn down as many settings as you can and hope for the best. The game will use as much as you let it for the settings applied. This is currently an intensive game for a laptop for that reason.

I have experienced some slowdowns for seemingly no reason in various scenarios. Sometimes even letting the game run in one place without input will let the frames drop over time. I'm not entirely sure of what causes it either.
