So, roughly, project a line normal to the throat, take slices along the line to form "expansion at this distance from throat" to compute temperature at that slice, and you can both correctly render blackbody glow temperature along the nozzle as well as end oxide film color for cheap (because the nozzle geometry presumably doesn't change over the course of a burn (and if it does because someone's built variable nozzles, the rate of variation won't be very fast))
