Welcome to the "Doesn't launch at all and instant crashes" club
There's something weird about the KSA executable, or something to do with DotNet 9 and now 10.
My install of KSA on my Win10 20H2 and NV 551 driver PC doesn't start at all, Lol.
On the launch and recent KSA with DotNet 9, even with the obvious libraries installed I had a "KERNBASE" crash (no window showing, no executable in task bar, etc) with no logs as to why it was failing, but it's clearly something to do with C# / .NET framework they're using and it having some bug with older Win10, or their compiling options are set to something that causes this bug.
On the recent KSA with DotNet 10, the failure is slightly more interesting in the Event Viewer, actually referencing DotNet's Corectl or some other similarly named DLL file being the issue / having crashed. It would be nice if this very specifically un-specific "I don't even want to run" could be investigated to get a few more (at least 6 people here) users with older Win10 setups running. Obviously, I have multiple DotNet Desktop runtimes installed and recognized by my Win10 install, which KSA does try to use
I find it awkward that KSA officially, intentionally doesn't support Linux, but the Linux users are having a better time than actual Win10 users who can run every other game and software. I doubt attention will be paid to this, and we'll be told to "update everything" (Not always an option, some users will be on older versions of Windows and drivers, especially on laptops), but if it was something explicit as to *why* it didn't work, maybe I could be convinced to potentially mangle my very stable atm setup
