Resolution change causes system freeze

Hello, I would like to report an issue that occurs when changing the in-game resolution in Kitten Space Agency.


This happens on a completely clean, unmodded installation, and I have reproduced it consistently on two different versions of the game: v2025.11.5.2819 and v2025.11.5.2791.


What I expected to happen
The game should allow changing the internal resolution and applying the new settings without causing the application or the operating system to freeze.


What actually happens
When attempting to change the resolution inside the graphics settings and clicking “Apply”:

• The game immediately freezes.
• My entire PC becomes unresponsive, forcing a hard reboot.
• This occurs in approximately 95 percent of attempts.
• The freeze is significantly more common when loading anything more complex than Earth alone — for example, Earth + Moon or the entire Solar System.

Steps to reproduce

1. Launch the game normally.
2. Load any environment (Earth + Moon or the Solar System make the issue more likely to occur).
3. Open the in-game graphics settings.
4. Change the resolution to any other value.
5. Click “Apply”.
6. Observe that the game and the system freeze in most cases.
