display the current game version on the opening Configuration window or
use the Configuration window to determine if there is an update available
Currently, you must load the game before it tells you there is a newer version. If the version was displayed on the Configuration window, at least I could check it against the release notes to see if I need the latest one BEFORE fully loading the game.
