It only happened once so far.
If I remember correctly, it was the first time I ran KSA after installing it and I went with the default settings and full Solar-System.
KSA began to load, but finally crashed, apparently before entering the actual game.
(Otherwise KSA runs mostly fine, up to max settings.)
