Currently the most deadly thing on the zombies game mode is accidentally walking into a pit and breaking your legs. Everything is too abundant and zombies do too little damage to make up for it.
I believe zombies should have a LOT more health, but a strong vulnerability to melee damage. Zombies is almost designed to be able to walk up to the enemy and melee them. Maybe the selection of what you can buy from the ATM can be nerfed. It is a zombie survival mode, after all.
Zombies does not feel desperate. The zombies do not hit hard enough to punish you when you make a mistake with the powerful options you have. Whenever things go bad, that is when it is fun. I think if the mode was centralized around melee more, it would be better.
