I'm playing the max textures 16k with v2025.12.5.2976 on a full solar system, it starts with 10GB VRAM but after 30 min it explodes to double the size of it, probably due to Luna visit :D

For me it's not a bug, I know this behavior from other games so it's standard for me. As well I know the feeling habits are the worst curse ;)

You can do it up till 30x the speed in KSA. Are you on a laptop?

I have the same on my end, it's a wrongly generated shadow from the clouds.

I'm using multi monitor setup, even if you were able to switch to the discord it would be not responsive, at least in my case as GPU runs at 100% and other apps that need any GUI rendering are barely working including task manager.

GTX 1080 TI 11GB + 64GB shared VRAM Clean game under 16K textures uses only 10GB when launched correctly.

I'm playing on 576.80 from June 2025 on my GTX 1080 Ti and I don't have this problem, sometimes the game closes during the 1st launch of it than the 2nd try is always successful. Current latest that I'm installing now is 581.57 to see if this changes anything.

I did nothing, I think it's the drivers fault ;) I can recreate it quickly by going directly to Luna [flyby] or landing than I'm getting the highest peak. I have GTX 1080 TI OC with 11GB VRAM + 128GB DDR5 and half of it is shared VRAM. After 2 min of gameplay I already passing from the stable...

I can launch the game with 8K but not higher, the game process crashes after processing Earth or one step over. When I launch the game again with the same setting it can start without issues if it's done soon after.

did you install the .Net 9.0 ?

I have the same problem. W10 + GTX1080TI + 128GB RAM >> any texture quality.
