While having an outdated KSA version it displays the download link in the console

Basically, when KSA loads and you have an outdated version of it, it will say
"a new version of KSA is available from (where you can download it)"
I reported this bug a while ago and it still hasn't been fixed, this would make it possible someone streaming KSA, Twitch, YouTube, Discord, etc. to accidentely show the link where you can download it.

it might be on purpose? Content creators/teachers etc might need this to be shown to keep up to date with the ever changing content of the game... Does this happen when the game is updated to the most recent version? if it doesn't show the link, i think its intentional to try "push" content creators/teachers etc to update to the newest version if they are not "technically inclined", or just not know there is an update.

thats my two cents on it.. at least, if it doesn't show on the newest version, only on older ones, its a easy way to know how to update it, even if it "shows" the link. its direct and formal

There is a pop-up taking you there, the thing is that if someone is streaming it live and the game is starting up and they have an outdated version it'll just reveal the link. Which is probably not ideal

Ideally, a content creator would have an idle screen while games boot up, as it is a normal thing to have for any bar of a content creator that streams, as streaming/recording software loves showing stuff that isn't supposed to be shown.. Unless it's a BRAND new content creator getting access to the game somehow. The clear statement of the game NOT being the most updated version to most people will help.

That doesn't mean showing the link is bad; it's just that there are two different tiers of people, including teachers, scientists, lecturers, space agencies, and companies. Then you have content creators who need to maintain a certain level of professionalism.

For me, the link is there for a clear understanding of what needs to be done, as most people it is for is not technically inclined users of a pc, let alone a "wip game" have a clear understanding of where to go needs to exist somewhere or you will get "stuck" on it..
