Solved Changing display mode or maximizing windowed KSA crashes it; sometimes prevents from launching unless settings file is deleted.

What Happened​

Kitten Space Agency crashes on application of settings and sometimes on launch when display mode is set to either Windowed or borderless. Happens also when resizing the window while in windowed (if it didn't crash on launch.) This didn't happen prior to updating (from v2026.1.8.3279 to v2026.2.2.3396)

What Was Expected​

Kitten Space Agency should not crash upon setting display mode to windowed/borderless or when resizing the window/entering fullscreen via alt + enter.

Reproduction Steps​

1. Launch Kitten Space Agency
2. Open the settings, go to the display tab if not already
3. Set 'mode' to windowed or borderless
4. Apply
At this point Kitten Space Agency would crash

Reproduction Rate​

Always for setting/window size change, 50/50 crash on launch.

Additional Info​

System specifications:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 notebook (4GB VRAM)
Ryzen 5 7535 HS with integrated graphics
16GB DDR5, 4800 MT/s (only Windows/KSA was running)

Game ran beautifully before updating, crashed on launch when I updated, even at lowest settings. Deleting settings file makes it only crash on launch sometimes or when the window mode is changed as per above.

Are you running a configuration with just the Earth or Earth/Moon?

If so, I believe the error was fixed in revision 3406, which should be available in the next public build. Please let us know if it's still a problem after that!
