Add version labels and OS selection before downloading

The current download button does not display version information, which makes it difficult for users to identify whether a new release is available. Additionally, there is no dedicated section for update logs within the built-in forum.
I propose linking the download button to an independent download webpage. On this page, users should be able to select their operating system (Windows/Linux) and software version. If feasible, a dropdown list for older legacy versions should also be provided, alongside clear display of all corresponding version numbers.
Furthermore, it would be highly beneficial to add a button within the AHWOO KSA interface that directly redirects users to the KSA WIKI.

Doesn't the game notify you when there is a new version when you boot it up?

Legacy versions are currently not hosted as far as I am aware of (only community sites) but I doubt this is really necessary considering it auto detects if youre on Windows or Linux and you can switch it if it detected it wrong.

Yeah this would be useful but its a matter of if ahwoo wants to endorse the wiki or not, since its currently considered unofficial and not endorsed (correct me if im wrong)

We know that some beefy Ahwoo updates are coming soon thanks to some info from Terra Incognita the other day. It's possible some of this will be addressed soon.

To my knowledge Dean has shot this idea down. Excess resources and hassle and has left this to the community for the time being.

While I would appreciate the sentiment, the wiki is a purely community-run platform and is not official. I doubt they'd ever want to directly link from the game's page and risk suggesting otherwise. It's easy to find on its own, thankfully! So I'm not too worried about people getting to it if they want to.
