StageInfo has been archived.​

As of KSA 2026.7.6.4939, the stock game's reworked Sequence UI now shows per-sequence Delta V, TWR, and fuel bars directly in the in-flight staging window and therefore has the core readouts StageInfo was built to add. With stock now covering the essentials (and more on the way), the mod is retired.

The final release, v0.6.0 (validated against KSA 2026.7.5.4892), stays available and may keep working on later builds, but it will neither be tested nor be updated.

Extra info and flight performance readouts in the stock staging window. The stock window shows per-sequence Delta V and TWR in the editor only; StageInfo adds them to both the Sequences and Resource Groups tabs so they work in flight too, and goes deeper: burn time, ISP, TWR against a selectable body's gravity, live fuel state, RCS budgets, and a corrected multi-stage burn duration for auto-burns. A mode selector sits at the top of each tab; the numbers render inline in the stock tree with fuel and RCS bars on each header, and the vehicle totals sit in a footer below.

Features

• Per-sequence Delta V, TWR, burn time, ISP, and a fuel-fraction bar, inline under each sequence (in flight and in the editor). When a burn is planned, the row shows how much of its dV the burn consumes, colored green to red.
• Per-group mass, fuel pool, engine count and decoupler count on the Resource Groups tab, with fuel and RCS bars on each group header. Substances no active main engine can consume are listed in the expanded group detail; shared tanks stay on the main fuel pool so nothing is double-counted.
• RCS dV budget as a footer line, with an engineering tooltip listing effective ISP, total propellant and scalar peak thrust.
• Display modes: Auto / VAC / ASL / VAC+ASL / Planning (Planning lets you pick any body in the current system).
• Editor readouts with a body selector for the TWR reference gravity and a Vacuum toggle for bodies with atmosphere; the numbers account for the selected body's gravity and reachable-only propellant.
• Totals footer with total Delta V, planned burn dV and burn time. Turns red when the planned burn exceeds available dV.
• Corrected multi-sequence burn duration calculation so auto-burns ignite at the right lead time.

StageInfo Update v0.2.0 - RCS visibility​

I was lining up a docking burn the other day, hit the keys - nothing happened. Turns out the RCS tanks had run dry and the UI panel never told me. Now it does.

This Update adds an RCS propellant view alongside the fuel display, so you don't run dry on reaction control mid-flight without noticing.

• Per-stage RCS bar in the stage header next to the fuel bar (blue, turns red below 20%).
• RCS substance breakdown in the expanded stage detail (e.g. MMH 1,180/1,761 kg NTO 1,888/2,817 kg) with hover tooltip for the full substance name and current/max mass.
• RCS dV budget in the footer (RCS dV ~X m/s) with a hover tooltip for effective ISP, total propellant, and scalar peak thrust.

Shared tanks (e.g. LFOX powering both the main engine and a vernier thruster) stay on the main fuel bar - the RCS bar only shows substances no active main engine can consume, so nothing is counted twice.

I will see what i can do here. To be fair i could definetly use some graphics design classes and could use your help here

The current yellow color is just the default ImGui progress bar color, e.g. the same color you get when you open the part menu by right-clicking tanks in the stock game.


To be honest i have grown quite used to it and like it.

Do the red, green and blue colors also pop out too strongly for you?
I believe that it would be nice to stay somewhat consistent with the colors of the stock game.

What do you think of the toned down color of the "Manual" button for example?



Do you have something concrete in mind? A specific tone or even better an RGB/hex value would be help a lot.

To run StageInfo on KSA 2026.5.7.4397 or newer you need at least StageInfo v0.2.4.

KSA 2026.5.7.4397 renamed Vehicle.LastKinematicStates to Vehicle.KinematicStates, which StageInfo references.
Earlier builds will fail to load against the new game version.

v0.3.0 - Editor StageInfo Panel​

Adds a StageInfo panel to the vehicle editor (Shift+E) showing per-sequence dV, TWR, burn time, and ISP alongside fuel and RCS bars for the rocket you are currently building.

Includes a body selector for TWR reference gravity and a Vacuum/ASL toggle for bodies with atmosphere. Toggle the panel via the "StageInfo" menu tab in the editor menu bar.

Also fixes stage fuel display missing tanks on sub-parts and adds pipe separators between RCS substance entries for readability.

StageInfo v0.4.1

Required for KSA 2026.6.2.4531
KSA 2026.6.2.4531 split KinematicStates into separate physics-state structs: AtmosphericPressure moved to PhysicsEnvironment and Vehicle.UpdateFromTaskResults gained a ref readonly BubbleOrigin parameter.

Update is mandatory for this mod to work if you are on KSA 2026.6.2.4531 and above; older builds fail to resolve their core patch target and StageInfo disables itself at startup.

Changes

• Read atmospheric pressure from Vehicle.PhysicsEnvironment instead of the removed KinematicStates field.
• Update the pinned Vehicle.UpdateFromTaskResults signature to match KSA's new BubbleOrigin parameter.

Compatibility
Tested against KSA build version 2026.6.2.4531.

Required for KSA 2026.6.3.4568
KSA 2026.6.3.4568 added two parameters to the Vehicle.UpdateFromTaskResults method this mod hooks. Update is mandatory on this game version and above; without it the mod silently disables (no stage info panel or burn-duration correction).

Changes

• Update the pinned Vehicle.UpdateFromTaskResults signature to the new 6-parameter form so ValidateCore passes and the analysis patches re-attach.

Required for KSA 2026.7.4.4860
KSA 2026.7.4.4860 renamed and reorganized the staging UI: the old Stage / Staging classes became ResourceGroup / ResourceGroups, and the staging window is now a single tabbed window (Sequences and Resource Groups). Update is mandatory for this mod to work if you are on KSA 2026.7.4.4860 and above; the previous version fails to load against the renamed game types.

Changes

• Rebuilt on the new stock staging window: StageInfo's readouts now render inline in the Sequences and Resource Groups tabs instead of a separate panel, in flight and in the editor.
• Sequences show Delta V, TWR, burn time, ISP, a fuel bar, and burn allocation; Resource Groups show mass, fuel pool, RCS, and engine/decoupler counts, with fuel and RCS bars on each header.
• A mode selector (Auto / VAC / ASL / VAC+ASL / Planning) sits at the top of each tab; the editor adds a body selector for the TWR reference gravity.
• The flight staging window now opens sized to the burn-control gauge instead of the small stock default.
• Removed the separate editor panel; the stock window keeps ownership of the tree, drag-drop, and staging edits.

StageInfo v0.6.0 - compatibility for KSA 2026.7.5.4892

Changes

• StageInfo is now the single per-sequence readout and compatible with KSA 2026.7.5.4892
• Each sequence's readout now follows that sequence's own Vac/Atm toggle, and atmospheric now uses the selected body's sea-level pressure instead of a fixed 1 atm.
• The active sequence in flight gets an Amb/Vac/Atm cycle button (the stock window omits a toggle there); Amb (true ambient pressure) is the default.
• Editor readouts recompute only on staging or body changes instead of every frame, cutting editor overhead substantially.

Compatibility
Validated against KSA build version 2026.7.5.4892.
