If you're infinitely hanging on "Planet Renderer" during loading on 5000/6000 series AMD GPUs on Windows please see guidance here: https://forums.ahwoo.com/threads/loading-stuck-on-planet-renderer.777/#post-4369
If it is closing/crashing during loading by itself it's likely you're running out of dedicated VRAM. You can try to turn down the texture sizes on game startup.
If you are unable to open the game at all or it instantly closes:
You should verify that the game is able to read and write to your "documents/my games" directory. We read/write settings and logs to it and our loading currently expects this permission.
You should check if you have any antimalware software is interfering with the game as our software certificates are unlikely to be registered in every antimalware softwares' registries just yet.
You should check that Windows Security isn't interfering with the game. Commonly, the "ransomware protection" option will prevent games from accessing required files.
If you're getting extremely low FPS anywhere then you're likely getting very close to the limits of your VRAM. You can try turning down textures.
If none of this applies or helps we recommend reinstalling your graphics drivers.
