Consider putting the button for smilies in the top bar of DMs

Had a quick look around and overall the forum looks nice! My main forum experience nowadays is with the Ars Technica site, and commenting on the Ahwoo forums shares a lot of good similarities.

My one suggestion so far is that the button for "Smilies" be put in the top bar when creating or replying to a Direct Message, rather than being hidden underneath the 3 dot menu. This is already the case when making forum posts, but I think it would be used frequently enough in DMs to justify a spot in the top bar. I ended up using Windows' emoji menu before realizing there was an option built-in to the messaging window

That makes sense to me! Smilies are now included for that editor breakpoint.
