Hey everyone,

We've updated our authentication session settings to make your experience on Ahwoo more convenient.

What's changed:
- You'll now stay logged in for up to 7 days of inactivity (previously 1 day);
- Maximum session length (in other words, the limit on the lifetime of each login) has been increased to 30 days (previously 7 days).
- If you use email and password to login with the "Remember Me" option, you'll stay logged in for up to 30 days of inactivity with no maximum session length.

What this means for you:
You won't have to...

I visit the forums from time to time and it is frequent enough to always stay logged in.

It would be nice if you could also do the same for https://ahwoo.com/app/100000/kitten-space-agency since i neeed to re-authenticate with discord every time a new version is available or even every time i restart the browser (both firefox and chrome).

Hey Maxi,

So ahwoo.com has a session idle setting of 7 days meaning if you visit the site once a week you will not have to re-authenticate for up to 30 days.

However, forums.ahwoo.com has its own separate login session, so unfortunately activity there won't reset the ahwoo.com timer and you may need to re-authenticate there if you don't visit it as often.

This detached session is something the team has discussed previously and is on our back log to revisit in the future. I hope that makes sense!

In that case it does seem like i am experiencing unintentional behaviour and just created this Bug report: https://forums.ahwoo.com/threads/lo...does-not-persist-across-browser-restarts.872/
