Flashing lines all over earth - first start

Just launched the game for the first time, fresh install, no mods. 16K and unlimited for both graphics settings on launch

These weird lines you can see flicker constantly on earth. not the whole planet. in some places you can almost see a mesh of the planet beneath the surface
