Hi, just downloaded KSA for the first time. Not even fired it up yet. I've been watching its progress and it looks too damned good not to join in and help with the feedback. Plus, seeing some of the KSP crew, some of the modders I recognise, this feels like a new beginning with the right ethos from the start. To be amongst fellow space nerds, for the physics, for the beauty and for that feeling I think we all have but can't put a name to. It's the feeling that overwhelmed me watching 2001: A Space Odyssey on the big screen when I was four and has never left me. There was a huge thunderstorm in Torquay that night, I can still remember the deep bass rumble from a close strike as that shot of Discovery, tiny and nearly lost against the majesty of Jupiter, suddenly gave me a sense of scale. It's still my favourite shot from the whole film.
That feeling...
Anyway, time to dive in and see what's what. Any tips for a first time Kitteneer. Nekonaut maybe? Although I kinda like Kitteneer as it harkens back to the early rocketeers. I may use both. What's the consensus at the moment?
