I went into orbit around Mars, circularized into 200something km AP, opened the gound tracker to see where my landing zone is and observed this:
Basically depending on camera angle and zoom in the map view, the ground tracker shows either Mars or Phobos, as I just discovered. The landmarks stay the same, only texture changes. Save from the situation attached.
Further playing around with camera kinda sorta suggests that planet texture and/or shadow LODs may have something to do with it, as it was changing when I was zooming in and out. But it did it on its own as well when I was timewarping without touching the camera - like if Phobos being closer or further from the camera affected it?
