Lack of marketing cohesion

Hello,

To preface this I would like to say that I am a great fan of this games idea and I wish it all the success possible,

With that in mind, I wanted to offer some feedback regarding the game's early marketing.

From the perspective of someone discovering the game for the first time, there seems to be a lack of cohesion that makes it unnecessarily difficult to understand what they're looking at.
  1. Website homepage: The homepage presents three distinct names: AHWOO, RocketWerkz, and Kitten Space Agency. On a first visit, it's not immediately clear what each of these represents or how they relate to one another. A new visitor may struggle to determine how each relate to the other.
  2. Game website: Personally, I think KSA would benefit from having its own dedicated website, with links back to AHWOO where necessary. At the moment, if someone searches for "Kitten Space Agency", the first result leads to the AHWOO website. On my first visit, it looked like a thirdparty site rather than the game's official page, simply because the branding isn't immediately obvious.
  3. YouTube channel: I think the same issue applies to YouTube. It's not immediately apparent that the channel is the official source for the game. A dedicated KSA YouTube channel or at least much stronger game focused branding on the existing channel would make it much clearer for people on first viewing.
As I said, I would like to see the game succeed and these issues seem to be a fairly obvious barrier for the uninitiated when first encountering the game given how relatively obscure it currently is.

I hope this feedback is useful.

I think a lot of this stems from Ahwoo itself being in its earliest renditions just as much as KSA is. No one outside of the KSA space would know what Ahwoo is in the first place anyways. That being said,
Personally, I think KSA would benefit from having its own dedicated website, with links back to AHWOO where necessary.
Ahwoo is the dedicated website in that it is the exclusive distribution platform and was made for KSA (to start). This abstraction would probably only make for more confusion and questions as to why Ahwoo should be a thing at all.

I think things will be more clear once KSA grows and develops more identity, and Ahwoo gets more of a foothold. Particularly once more games start to be offered through their platform. I'd expect some tweaks to things as that becomes a reality. I do agree that a bit more clarity on the page would be useful but when other pages exist to compare to then things would start to make sense by patterns anyways. I am no webdev or UX designer though.

As much as KSA is a WIP I believe that Ahwoo is as well. We're early and it'll only get better, and feedback helps!
