Game Version

v2026.2.35.3667, but at least a couple of previous builds have it.

Operating System

Debian sid
Does not seem like Linux-specific, but I do not have anything to comare it to.

What Happened

Autopilot and maneuvers wonky near Pan.
1. Dragging on maneuver retrograde arrow causes Pan itself to visually shift prograde in its orbit. It snaps back when released.

2. Autopilot points to wrong orientation when set to Burn Positive, ~100 degrees off to one side when outside of Pan's SOI, then flips to ~100 degrees to another side after entering SOI. It holds Target Anti-Velocity orientation fine, which in this situation is very close to a retrograde maneuver.

Wrong Burn Positive:

Target Anti-Velocity, which is what Burn Positive roughly should be:

What Was Expected

Pan position not affected by maneuver interaction, correct AP orientations.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Get into Saturn's orbit close to Pan
  2. Get on Pan intersect trajectory
  3. Make Pan circularization maneuver

Reproduction Rate

always

Thanks for the report!

Sadly, I don't seem to be able to reproduce the described visual effect on windows. I'll hunt down one of my Linux-inclined coworkers and bug them but would you also be able to take a video of you dragging the maneuver node?

Try as I might I couldn't reproduce this on Windows either.

Btw, it only jumps if simulation is not paused.
