Ran into this issue while trying to upload this image from Daishi's dev post on discord.
When you click the button to upload an image or attach a file, the Ahwoo forums do not give you a size limit for uploads. When you try to upload an image the first time, at least the forums reject the image right away if it is too big, but this seemingly doesn't happen for files until after the progress bar has filled up, or if you try to upload the same image a second time.
It would save time if the forums clearly said in the "select a file" dialog that there is a maximum file size of "1 MB" or whatever (I'm guessing the limit after trying 5 MB and 2 MB pictures without success). That way, we could pre-compress the files to the right size rather than trying and failing to upload them repeatedly.
