A precision landing in a little Moon crater was tedious. I think a gimballed engine would have made this easier.
Also a mark on the navball indicating the direction of motion.

Engines gimbaling are currently in active development.

Engine throttle is already in the game, controlled with the up and down arrow keys.

Also allowing manual input during attitude control like 'up' would make precision landings much easier, e.g. activate 'up', steer sideways for a little while and when manual input stops the rocket turns 'up' again.
