I am an old-timer from the early, very early KSP days (known as seehpcod and docphees), was also duped with KSP 2, and I managed to completely miss the buzz about KSA until now. And I am massively happy about KSA!
In KSP, I ran through all the phases: I built Rockets, Planes, Helicopters, Modular exploration vessels, huge motherships with smaller mission craft, had a spot of building infrastructure, which never really took off, because of loading-bouncing (or, well, it actually did often take off...). I spent too many hours building elaborate ground vehicles, created a lovely ornithopter (
), at some point became weirdly obsessed with sea planes and submersibles (https://kerbalx.com/docphees) and found out, that deep diving in KSP was actually quite creepy, even if the sea bed was always utterly empty. Over the years I have bought KSP three or four times, since I had so much fun with it.
My background: Physicist, Mathematician, IT and programming/software development, musician.
Obviously I was very much into kOS, loved trying out the multiplayer iterations etc.
I have used KSP in education a lot and hope to be able to use KSA in a similar fashion.
