What's the grand plan for KSA?

How similar to KSP? Same arrangement of buildings at the space center? Same contracts/parts/research?

multiplayer
weapons
a complete galaxy/Milky Way
the whole observable universe
the whole universe
warp drive
worm holes
light sails + space lasers
 
There is a lot that we don't know yet because there's a lot that RW hasn't gotten into much detail on themselves while they work on the fundamentals of the game's technology before working on all the gameplay. I'm sure there will naturally be similarities with KSP but it seems like KSA will be its own thing in many ways as well.

That being said, here's a list regarding some of your points:
  • There is no telling how the space center will be laid out yet.
  • No idea on contracts/research other than probably more involved or interactive than KSP's.
  • Interstellar will have support to implement but no confirmation on RW adding other star systems and interstellar tech yet.
  • Colonies may not be implemented so much "permanent habitation", smaller scale outposts rather than large bases for hundreds of kittens.
  • Multiplayer is confirmed to be on the to-do list.
  • No weapons.
  • No full galaxy or entire universe(s).
  • Probably no warp drive.
  • Worm holes wouldn't really mean much without an interstellar/intergalactic scale so probably not.
  • Light sails could be a possibility or might at least become a mod. Lasers probably not much like weapons.
