Modpack Tag for Mod Releases​

Kitten Space Agency's Mod Releases board has a new Modpack tag, in purple, next to Parts, Celestial, Audio, User Interface, Gameplay, Tools and Visual.



Pick it when you release a curated pack of other people's mods, and anyone browsing the board can filter for packs from the tag menu. The tag isn't tied to Kitten Space Agency, so we can add it to another community's release board whenever that team asks.

Modpacks in the Mod Release Rules​

We've added a modpack section to the KSA Mod Release Rules. A few notes for modpack authors:

1. When you release a pack, link to each mod's original download instead of re-hosting anyone's files.
2. In the first post, list every mod the pack includes, with its:
   • name and version;
   • author;
   • licence;
   • download link;
   • thread on Mod Releases.
3. Only include mods that already have their own release thread here.
4. If your pack adds its own scripts or tools, publish their source, the same as for any other mod.
5. When an author updates a mod in your pack, update the pack or mark it outdated, and take a mod out if its author asks.

Groundwork for Community Reactions​

Reactions are now part of the forum's configuration system, like boards and tags, instead of settings we changed by hand in the admin panel.

This was needed so a game's team can give its community custom reactions of its own.

While we moved them, we made Wow reactions worth +1 reaction score, and we swapped Love's for a plain and Haha's for - since most replies are funny without being roll-on-the-floor funny.
