1. A sort of crate that you can make or buy ( I think making it makes more sense, with plasteel perhaps ) that is built into the ground or whatever, affixed maybe. Crate is fire and boom proof and is primarily used for storing ammo or anything else explosive. Good for preventing ammo detonations intentional or otherwise. Also maybe make their contents be destroyed when if they're broken one way or another, would be good to give them a lot of health cause of that but that would further help in stopping booms as they wouldn't just get destroyed and then have all the ammo detonate.
2. Creatable doors ( or at least something to keep people out of an area ) to further help with keeping people out of unsafe or restricted areas. This would have to be tested and watched more closely however as I don't believe I have to mention how this could become an issue in and of itself. ( maybe make them easy to break? that would stop people from using them to keep people out of areas they shouldn't try to keep them out of while still giving them some recourse to someone trying to go where they think they shouldn't.
3. Id or code locks, code could work better for sharing access but could also backfire ( which is kinda funny itself so maybe that's fine ). Used on the aforementioned crates and doors as too keep certain people in and out of restricted areas, helpful for both reducing clutter in work areas like for docs and keeping unsafe people away from ammo piles. Could also maybe add this as a feature to sentry, shooting anyone in its range that isn't authed with it, would add more utility to turrets AND the turret computer which could notify you if someone is trying to go into an area they shouldn't. Could also maybe broaden the usage of the sentry computer to control access to doors or anything else code locked, as an alternative to having someone by them who has the right code or access or whatever.
Those three ideas are in response to people blowing up ammo one way or another, and I feel like they could maybe be fun to use to just have nicer "bases" that feel more proper than just having shit laying around haphazardly. I'm not sure how their construction time or cost should be balanced but I think provided they aren't too expensive to make or complicated to use you could see people using them with the current set up time each round has already.
