The end-of-round board asks whether you enjoyed the round and shows the result before the restart. Xenos, zombies and the anomaly creatures climb into a low hovering Huey, the Huey smashes street floodlights when it comes in low, and its rotor sound no longer chops. Ladders can be shot out and torn away, guns keep their empty magazine until you unload it, and a scope shows the floors below through holes. Ghosts get a vision chip and can read names. Extraction guards put out fires, foam needs a chilled beaker, and the new player sprout shows in chat and on the board.
End of round
- The board asks DID YOU ENJOY THE ROUND? with a YES and a NO for everyone who deployed a character that round. You can change your vote until it closes a minute before the board ends, then the percent shows in the board band with the vote count under it, green at 75 and up, amber at 50 and up, red below that, and a dim -- if fewer than a quarter of people voted. Leaving early still counts your vote, observers see nothing until the result lands, and the rating posts to the Discord round ledger.
- The green new player sprout also shows after a new player's name in chat and beside them on the end-of-round manifest, observing list, honors and last words, so you know who to go easy on after the round too. The hover tip puts the flavor line under NEW PLAYER on its own line.
Huey
- Drones, zombies, the Venator, the Archon and the Behemoth climb into a Huey sitting in a low hover, so hovering over them to taunt is over. The Behemoth lost its thrall escort to make that work, nobody ever saw it in play anyway.
- Coming in low over the colony street floodlights hits them, the floodlight drops to its stump and the hull takes the damage, and everyone inside and nearby hears the metal hit. The Huey flies through, it doesn't stop.
- The rotor, cockpit and gas producer sounds stepped 20 times a second straight off the tick, which read as chop and got worse under public round jitter, they now glide toward the target.
Combat
- Guns keep their dry magazine until you unload it by hand. The M41A and friends used to spit the empty mag onto the floor on the last shot while 140 other guns didn't, so everything works the same way now, the trigger dry-clicks and the ammo chip reads 0. The last-round beep stays on the guns that had it.
- Numpad plus and minus step the scope zoom, the same cycle as clicking the magnification chip, and do nothing without a scope up.
- Looking through a scope shows the deck below through any opening in the glass instead of a void, at whatever Below Floors setting you run.
- Ladders can be shot out. A broken ladder leaves the rickety prop on its tile and you can't climb from that end, though you can still arrive on it from the other end. A ladder tile also tears away with the floor around it like any other tile, only a stair mouth stands.
Fire and chemistry
- The four rifle guards and the corpsman at the extraction site carry a mini extinguisher that never runs dry and put out any fire burning inside the extraction circle. Medical comes first, then fire, then everything else.
- Firefighting foam only forms once the chem heater has chilled the beaker below 1 C. Carbon, chlorine and sulfur mixed at room temperature just sit there.
- The firefighter backpack tank is born full of foam instead of water, so the firefighter and anomaly firefighter kits refill from foam.
- The chemical heater animates while it heats or chills, the chamber window glows or frosts and the panel LED breathes red or teal.
Ghosts
- The OBSERVE button on the dead overlay is a vision chip that cycles GHOST, OBSERVE and NVG. NVG gives night vision at full range with no curtain, so an observer camera far from its ghost isn't range clamped. OBSERVE and NVG only unlock once you're perma dead or joined as an observer.
- Hovering a player as a ghost shows their name.
AI
- Xeno scouts climb walls to reach a coverage spot on another floor instead of giving up on it, and a drone scout never chews through a foundation to get there.
Fixes
- Chat lines, typing bubbles and the new player sprout for people on a floor below you were invisible while you were looking down through a paged view or stairs, even though you could see the person through the opening.
- Blood, soot, oil and casings on the hybrisa floor grates in LV759 and LV376 drew under the grate, they sit on top of it now.
