After manual decoupling, RCS thrusters behave weirdly

Game Version

[v2026.2.4.3428]

Operating System

[Windows 10]

What Happened

[The RCS thrusters do not fire even though they are fed the right propellent and they are active, after a series of staging]

What Was Expected

[My vessel should decouple and still be able to fire RCS thrusters afterward]

Reproduction Rate

[Upon reloading the original save named "quad decoupling", the bug still occurs]

Additional Info

  • Save File: YES, compressed with WinRAR
  • Other Notes: Warning: while trying to reproduce the bug, with KSA open and writing down the bug report, my GPU crashed once and KSA was frozen when the GPU came back. Closing and rebooting KSA to continue the report, loaded the save, etc. , my computer started making grinding sounds, like it was about to explode - I assume it was my RTX 3060 Ti GPU, because when I shut the game down it stopped.

The vessel having decoupled, there are now two crafts: the main one has lost function of its RCS, the booster however can fire its RCS thrusters correctly.

=> I added 2 more saves called "rcs bug test 1" and "rcs bug test 1 reproduced"

- "rcs bug test 1" loads you into the same quad-booster vessel BEFORE any decoupling (at launch, I hit spacebar to ignite the engines).
- "rcs bug test 1 reproduced" loads you into that same quad-booster vessel AFTER decoupling the very last fairing at the top of the rocket (decoupled by right clicking the short ring fairing).

=> Switching control to the booster again and the RCS does not work.
====> UNLESS I right-click each RCS thruster to activate them but not always effectively:
Activating all the bottom thrusters + 1 thruster closer to the top of the rocket (nose) will activate that last one thruster.
Activating only 2 opposite thrusters near the top stage, sometimes allows to fire the targeted thrusters. Sometimes it doesn't. And it's the thruster that is mirrored on the other side, so maybe the issue is also related to the Editor mode with the Radial Symmetry buttons. I used x4 radial symmetry for those top thrusters, and for the bottom (boosters) thrusters I only placed them with Inheritance symmetry (and obviously Snapping).

edit1: it seems the files did not upload correctly (at all) even though I could see them uploaded... Maybe it was in the wrong format? Either way, they should be uploaded now as Archive WinRAR ZIP files.
