Cannot change email

I'm not able to change my email, the account help centre says it's possible but the field is locked.

Update your account details by navigating to Account Settings. You can change your display name, email address, and other profile information there.

I got the same error. Both for the ahwoo forums and download page.
The ahwoo forum email change button says "Your email cannot be changed while your account does not have a password." but there is no way to set a password.

Is this a planned feature?

I did connect my discord account with Ahwoo but instead of using my current discord email address it did register with the original email address that i used to create the discord account years ago. The email does not exist anymore.

I would love if my account could be connected to my real email address before i start using it for contributions, forum participation etc.
