Game Version

v2026.2.10.3538

Operating System

[Linux + XOrg + XFCE + Lutris/Wine]

What Happened

I have the XFCE taskbar at the top of my screen.
When I start KSA, the taskbar stays visible.
Dialog highlights and click events do not occur where the mouse pointer is, but a bit lower (roughly by the height of the taskbar).
I only guess, that it's caused by a discrepancy between the reported mouse screen position and the in-window pixel positions.

What Was Expected

Afaik KSA runs in a pretty exclusive fullscreen mode. I expected it to cover my taskbar, too.
Even with the taskbar, I expected KSA to handle it's mouse/screen/window positions correctly.

Reproduction Steps (for me)

  1. I freshly downloaded KSA (see version above)
  2. I installed it into a clean Wine prefix (using Lutris, and "install a Windows game from an executable")
  3. I started KSA

Reproduction Rate

Always. 100%.
But I don't remember this issue when I tried KSA the last time on linux, weeks ago.

Additional Info

  • Screenshot: First dialog, mouse points to System option "Earth only", but dialog highlights category header "Game Type", and a click there would fold/unfold it

PS:

I was only trying to search for the the phrase "mouse" when I created this post initially, before I could edit it. Sorry if that confused someone.
