WHAT HAPPENED vs WHAT WAS EXPECTED
  • When close to a planetary body/moon there are flashing artifacts. (No flashing artifacts are to be expected)
It appears to be an issue with white pixels appearing in the distance at steep camera angles. Subpixel details flickering between light and dark values. The white pixels popping in cause large blooms to occur. White pixels still pop in with bloom turned off, however, it is much less noticeable with bloom disabled.

REPRODUCTION STEPS
  • Orbit Luna/Moon
  • Artifacts are more common at lower altitudes, so lower orbit
  • Bloom settings must be enabled (all settings @ max value)
