Game Version

2026.4.10.4057

Operating System

Win11

What Happened

Large white "clouds" expand and cover the planet and are culled by the active ship and screen edges. When they are all culled they don't come back.

What Was Expected

There are nice-looking clouds lower in the atmosphere, so this looks like something unintentional.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Start the game

Reproduction Rate

I haven't seen it not happen. I'm new to KSA and only tried playing the game once last month, but the game wouldn't launch due to some graphics error.

Additional Info

I recorded a video here:

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 64.0 GB
Total Physical Memory 61.6 GB

Adapter RAM (1,048,576) bytes

The CPU has onboard graphics that aren't being used. I got the CPU because I wanted to try out the inline GPU thing, but it never worked. I don't think it is related to this but I will also include those specs for completeness. I only just noticed that the 7600 reports a tiny amount of RAM compared to the inline 740M- weird. My displays are plugged in to the 7600 and KSA reports ~15.19 GB of available VRAM on the configuration screen.
